Millfield is one of the UK’s leading co-educational independent schools. Each year the Senior and Prep Schools put together a review of all the highlights of the previous school year for parents and other interested parties. We were asked to take a fresh look at these two publications and take them in a new and more creative direction to achieve greater impact and differentiation.
It swiftly became obvious that one of the key defining aspects of both Schools is the sheer range of activities on offer to their pupils. Our design concept of ‘Highlights as Heroes’ was devised to throw a spotlight on this outstanding characteristic. From the distinctive, colourful typography and intriguing ‘highlight’ copy on the front cover through to the use of bold photographic ‘hero’ shots through both publications the result is a pair of annual reviews demanding to be read and communicating a school that is going places.
