Morag Myerscough lecture
Mytton Williams has designed the poster for the West of England Design Forum talk by Morag Myerscough on Wednesday 25 April at the Arnolfini, Bristol. Working beyond 2-D, Morag makes places from the spaces that people like to be in, places that stimulate and can make you smile. Morag’s talk at the Arnolfini in Bristol will be a look at projects past and present, global and local. The making of the poster reflects these 3D and environmental aspects of her work, first printed onto plywood and subsequently photographed. (For more of the process see our Facebook page).
Initial print onto Multiply Digital by Alpha Signs Systems. Posters printed by Taylor Brothers. Rives Tweed Bright White paper supplied by McNaughton. For more information go to the WEDF website.

Conference communications
Conferences are demanding events to organise and manage. A wide range of communication material is required to achieve impact and disseminate key messages and themes. The Loan Market Association (LMA), Europe's trade association for the syndicated loan markets recently held its 2011 Conference at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre, London.

Two typographers talk type
We've been working on the promotional material for the latest West of England Design Forum event. If you're in the Bath / Bristol area next month, be sure to check out another excellent talk. Hear from two experts in type design, David Quay and Jeremy Tankard. David will be talking about how he created a custom type family to be used as the new signage and orientation system for the City of Bath. And Jeremy will be talking about the design of one of his recent typefaces. Check out the website for more details.
'An Evening of Typography' Wednesday 9th November, 7pm at the Arnolfini.

Working with the neighbours
Well – it’s open. The newly extended Holburne Museum re-opened its doors on Saturday 14 May. They are only just round the corner from us so working with them on various re-opening promotional items has been just a hop, skip and a jump re communication. We can’t wait to try the café – it looks like a winner for us locals.

Earlier this year, CBS Outdoor in association with Campaign set the UK's advertising industry a challenge: To design and write a Cross Track Tube poster using long copy (50+ words) that would entertain, inform and inspire the people of London as they wait for their train.

Holburne Revels
It's the Autumn Dinner of the Holburne Museum on Thursday 4 November. We've been working with them to create all of the printed material for the event, from the invites and booking form to the menu.
It's a mighty exciting time for this museum as all is set for a glorious re-opening next year. We wish them well with the dinner and look forward to all the adventures 2011 is going to bring them.

British Glass Biennale 2010
The stupendous catalogue is at the printers in Italy (get a sneaky peak at the running sheets), the glitzy invites to the Private View are in the envelopes and all is set fair for the 2010 British Glass Biennale. It's a bit of a dream job working on this biennial project. The exhibits are always so intriguing and exciting that creative ideas flow like a proverbial river. The exhibition is running from 27 August to 11 September in Stourbridge, West Midlands
