Less talk more action
Process Environment is an innovative engineering company focused on efficiency solutions. They came to us, via the Design Programme, with a brief to help clarify their services and with an eye to new business ventures. They had an offering that had broad appeal across many sectors and industrial situations but despite having excellent client relationships, further growth through new business was slow.

A cocktail of brand extension
We've worked with the Halcyon Hotel in Bath for a number of years now. In fact we created the brand with its associated idiosyncratic tone of voice and chic ethos. The latest Halcyon project has been the opening of its supercool new Circo bar-lounge and music venue.

On track with brand extension
Building on the success of the identity for the Halcyon Hotel, and Circo lounge bar, we are pleased to report that we have been working on another project at the sophisticated end of Bath nightlife. Opening in October, Circo will be expanding. Echoing the chic, grown-up ethos of the current bar, Circo is now set to offer great music with guest DJ's as well as everything you’ve come to expect from one of Bath’s coolest bars. We are looking forward to seeing the results on signage, menus and merchandise – and to taking our turn on the dance floor!

Arts St George's
St George's Healthcare NHS Trust in Tooting serves a population of over 3.5m. Art is a very evident part of the hospital. However, few people outside St George's are aware of this important aspect. Arts St George's is the newly created name for the hospital arts programme. This programme has an ambitious agenda. We were commissioned to create a new identity to support the commercial objectives of attracting new funding and building new relationships with prestigious specialist arts organisations.

Developing a property portfolio
Andrews, one of the UK’s leading residential and commercial property brands in the south of England, is busy growing its business. As part of their development plans they have recently created a new service offering. This service has a distinctive set of benefits created specifically to attract the ‘up market’ house seller. We were asked to create a visual identity for this service to communicate the value of this offering and thereby extend the current Andrews branding in line with growth plans. We applied the new identity to window display material, sales literature and advertising.
We are now working with the company on their latest exciting project.

A recipe for getting it right
Consistently voted the UK top retailer and favourite shop, Waitrose can trace its visionary business model all the way back to 1929. Today there are 243 branches dedicated to offering quality, value and customer service.
In collaboration with our colleagues Ink Copywriters we were asked to define and develop a distinctive tone of voice and visual language to help ensure the increasing number of people coming in contact with the Waitrose brand have a clear and consistent experience.

Branding. Design. Passion.
The West of England Design Forum was formed in 2006 by a bunch of passionate designers and others who wanted to create a place to come together, be inspired and promote design. The idea worked and five years later the Forum is booming and basically has an agenda of onwards and upwards to the design stratosphere. In association with this growth we were asked to rebrand WEDF in line with clearly defined development objectives. The new branding was launched last night at the Arnolfini in Bristol, followed by the latest event – a talk by Paul Belford, creative director of ‘This is Real Art’.

Building relationships
We are very pleased to announce that St Mary’s University College, London have re-appointed us to work with them for the next three years on their under and post graduate prospectuses and other communication materials. Our relationship with St Mary’s goes back over 6 years during which time we have seen the university college grow in status and profile. We feel sure that it is this long standing effective relationship that helped us succeed against the stiff competition.

Circo Bar
Having created the Halcyon Hotel brand in all its aspects from tone of voice and brand personality to style of photography we have just completed the branding for the latest hotel project. The Halcyon’s new Circo cocktail bar and lounge with its circular bar opened at the end of January. As an extension of brand Halcyon we have employed all the established brand characteristics of witty copy and cool, chic imagery. The brand Halcyon empire grows – check out this newest edition to sophisticated Bath night life.

Better communication
Skylands Learning are an ambitious SME company providing extensive ‘e learning’ services. It was felt that the concept of ‘e learning’ limited communication of the full range of services offered by the company. A new way of communicating had to be created to act as a platform for growth and development. The new brand concept of ‘connected learning’ has been generated to correctly position the company as a strategic, experienced and knowledgeable service provider.
